MONDAY
First we did start of the day task and natasha won a class point for making the most words out of monday the 11th October, I got eleven words. Next we did Literacy, not my favouritelesson i admit. Mr. Mitchell showed us a power point on imperitive verbs. We got to interview the girls football team.
MATHS
In maths we did averages, we learnt that there are, the mean average, the median average, and the mode average there was also the range.
MUSIC
We listened to the rythm we played last week and we answered questions about the rythm.
TUESDAY
For start of the daywe had to name two things that 14,280,42,70 have incommon. Another thing that we had to do was to add 3744 and 8278. The third thing to do was find to out two decimals that add up to 0.8, many other things that we had to do aswell.
Wake and Shake
Kavanagh chose an eight min wake and shake, but then he started monning. After we got given our home work.
Literacy
In literacywe did a piece of comprehension on how to work an old video recorder.
Maths
We carried on with averages. Mr. Mitchell explained what median average was. Then he asked us to send in our favourite number between1 and 100. Before lunch we did an activote quiz.
Art
First we did problem solving to get our minds going, why don't you have a try. One of the problems were, how many bottles doesErnie the milkman sell in a week, he sells 11 bottles of milk monday-friday, and 22 at the weekend, so how many bottles does he sell in a full week. Next we had to look at ourwhilestwe ate an apple, to see what it looked like so we can make a moving modle of an animals mouth. Then we made flip book faces on tracing paper.
WEDNESDAY
Literacy
Mr. Mitchell asked us to say a verb then put it into a sentence. After that we moved onto adverbs. In our work books we carried on with what we did on tuesday.
Maths
In maths we had to find out mean, median and mode.
Science
We had to make little people and then put them in a sporty pose.
THURSDAY
literacy
We started a new piece of comprehension task.
Maths
We continued with averages, by rolling two dice 15 times then transferingit onto a tally chart. Then find the mode, the mean, the median, and the range.
I.C.T.
We used scratch to make a random number maker.
Poems
After last break we wrote a class pirate pete poem.
Hand washing
We washed our hands i a cream that looks like we have loads of jerms on our hands when we put them under a special machien. Then we did a cross word on jems and cleaness.

Week 3rd to 8th October by Kumiko
Monday:
English: Today we finished off our stories that we did last week.It was all about food ...who dosen't LOVE food ^_^. I already did mine but I changed mine, because I didn't really like much of the ending.
Maths: Boo maths who likes maths but we have to do it!! :( .Today we did Perimiter and area we had to copy the questions off the sheet of paper. I don't think we finished it because we had to do the refresher,the practise and the challenge and EVERY THING ELSE!!
Afternoon:
P.E: We didn't do much so you can't really call it a lesson ,we just jumped ran we DIDN'T DO MUCH!!!! '_' - Because it was raining outside and the hall was being used by |KS1.
R.E: Did stewards of creation it was really fun because Harry and Ellie made this funny tune of it and we all kept singing it we still do. ^_^
Tuesday:
English:Today we did origami we made little boats. I did the instructions but I was'nt that good at it.But then we got a new paper and we did it again but we could see how to do it we got explained that because you CAN'T see it it's harder do get it right.Oh yeah you can float the boats in water.
Maths:In maths we did the same thing on monday but WE DID IT ON THE ACTIVOTES ^_^.
Afternoon:
Flute:WAHOO we are out of class to flute lesson. Since I was'nt in the other lesson I can tell you about the flute lesson with Mrs.West and Kiera.We learnt a new song and note we parted it for me and Kiera could do our own bit.
P.E: Since we didn't do much on monday we did p.e today,we had to stand on benches and move on the bench without falling off. When they people came to me I just picked them UP ^_^
Wednesday:
English:Today we did a power point we had to make three slides that had these animations on the laptops and we also had to copy MISTER MOORE MISTER MOORE CREAKING DOWN THE CORRIDOR UH UH EH EH EH UH sorry I got carried away with that poem!!
Maths:In maths we was making cubes it was so cool because it was EASY and their were itty bitty cube on our table ,one little square.^_^
Afternoon:
R.E:We did Adam and EVE.WE then wrote when we did something wrong ^_^
Thursday:
French: Today we did something different we did FRENCH. We did French numbers up to 20 that was just recaping what we did in year 4. we then played bingo and hangman.
Maths:We did times and division from the work book.
Afternoon:
English:Ben and Harry read this poem from the truth about parents,then Mr. Mitchell read poem from IT'S BEHIND YOU.Then we made porridge not real porridge :(.
Science:We watched about DRUGS and talked about Drugs :(.
Friday:
WE HAD to dress up as a book character.Went to assembly.
Swimming:Just keep swimming swimming swimming.Just Swam ^_^
When we came back we did our spellings and maths test.
Afternoon:
We made these little men and women .Then we did this thing with this guy called john

Week ending 24th Septermber - By Eve :D
Monday: when I got in I found that the start of the day task was to make a word from the letters smr and put them in order eg smart or swimmer.After that Mr Mitchell introuduced us to the the class point chart in the lead is Kumiko with 11 points!We moved onto literacy and we had to find foods that end in a,i o u. Right after break we to finish are Twits work we had to describe what the twits dog looks like smells like and what it felt like.In maths we learnt about triangles we got a rectangual piece of paper we folded it longways and drew a line from the top corner and to the bottom corner we cut along the line and we got three isosceles triangles and we stuck them in are books and wrote facts about them and then it was lunchtime.In the afternoon it was the first day of the bikeability road safety we learnt to about an m check and how to get in pop a postion on your bike and then we played some games and soon it was hometime.
Tuesday: In the morning the start of the day task was to make a word from these letters tnk and put them in order.Ah literacy my favorite lesson of the day,yay we had a quiz on the activotes our first question was "who is your favorite author"there was a variety of authors on the board to choose from unfortunatly my favorite author was not on the board but i hope every one elses is. The answer we picked depended on what group we got placed in. I was placed in the Roald Dahl group. The others had Micael Morpurgo and JK Rowling. We had to write facts about the author - when they were born, when they died, etc. Finally we finished on an activote quiz. My favourite part is "name and shame" even if I get the question wrong. Maths: we were learning to times by 20 - I had to do a refresher - I finished just as the hand reached 12 o clock. Then lunchtime began. After lunch we had Miss LEwis for art, but during art I had to leave to got to the bike club thingy. We rode all the way to surestart and we learnt about junctions. On the way back I took a nasty bump and scratched my knee. I even had a bloody arm! If that was bad luck - just imagine what happened to my bike! The chain guard kept getting caught on my pedal. Just my luck.
Wednesday: The start of the day task was a bit different today because it was a maths problem. But it was not the only thing different today - when I was on my way to school I saw someone or something I saw blobs of paint on Mrs Smiths window. In assembly an author called David Harper cam eand read some of his poems. Everyone was laughing because it was really funny. Sorry I could not write what happened next becuase I cannot remember! In the afternoon while i was on my bike the rest of the class were with David hamper talking about poems and a bit about doctor who which was a shame really because i love doctor who!After school it was football with boys and girls our team one 3-2 and the lady of the match was Ellie I was a close second!
Thursday:our start of the day task today was to make a pirate ryhm for the person sitting next to us eg pirate Ellie pirate Ellie has a crave for red jelly.Mr Mitchell told us about the new thing on the activotes we had lots multipacation questions,when we had finished on the activotes it was time for literacy we had to write another chapter for james and the giant peach mine was about worm that came out of a seagulls mouth. In maths mr mitchell got a sticky note and gave it to Patrick we all chose numbers and we added them together and the total was the number on the sticky note everyone was dying to know how he did it and we checked it on a calculater then it was lunch time. It was the last day of the bikeability thing.today instead of going to grange park we went all the way to kings cote park we had to go up really steap hills on one my bike would'nt go up it , when we got back to school we played some games then it was home time :)
Friday: On friday moring we went straight into our spelling's i got 10/10 correct after that we did our maths test i was a bit harrder this week then we got on the coach to moor park but on the window there was a bit of sick and i had to sit next to it :O . in our swimming group we had to go under the water and blow bubbles next we held our hands out and we pushed our selfs.When we got back we marked are math tests.We got into are auther groups we made powerpoints about there life Mr Mitchell said we were just reading off the board i think the Jk roaling group was the best.After lunch we were with mr mitchell and we saw a play called doctor who in the heart of the park it featured st marys boundary and christ the king their was music and every one was singing and it was great fun and finally it was finished and the day was to!
