Monday: It was Toby's birthday and roald dahl's birhday.We learnt all about roald and read james and the gaint peach.Then we made a class anagram,we had the word angry and we had to make words that mean the same word. for example we had the word big you could say titanic.then after lunch we had p.e. but it was raining so we had to do it in the hall.mr mitchell got benches out and we had to stand on the benches and we had to get ourselves into height order or something like that.
Tuesday: we learnt about a poo vegtable but its not real!we had to find out what it smelt liked, tasted like, looked like, sounded like and felt like.then we made our own word up in our litaracy book.then after that with miss lewis we had to get into pairs and those people who made a dodecahedren showed the people who made the origormi how to make the dodecahedren.
wednesday: we had our literaracy books in front of us and we had to write down other words meaning big, rich and funny.Then we read a bit of james and the gaint peach.then we learnt a bit of maths.After lunch we learnt science.our topic which is staying healthy. We went on the activotes to learn about our body parts.
On Thursday we wrote about the twits dog, we had to describe how the dog looked, smelled, felt and sounded. In numeracy we some problem solving. In the afternoon we did some RE then went to assembly.
Friday at last, we went swimming for the first time. We got put into separate groups and we learnt how to do front stroke, back stroke breast stroke. It was good fun because we go to go underwater. When we came back i missed doing the mental maths test because i was practicing for the fame dance. After dinner we learnt about our science topic we went outside and did some running, skipping, hopping and walking and tested our pulse rates, When we came back in we did some RE and we made flags of the children in our group, we put down all the gifts that god gave to us. Then it was the best part of the week, Golden Time! I played nethall.
I give the week 9 out of 10.
